Athena Stormi Skye
Athena hails from Heritage GSP Kennels. She showcases her long German lineage with her beautiful stature and regal disposition. Athena is content in the house; however, prefers to be outside pointing and working during the day and relaxing in the luxury of the home at night.
Hero Go Again! Heritage Reloaded
Hero hails from Heritage GSP Kennels where he was started and exceptionally trained on obedience and birds! Hero is from Stealth Brothers S Heritage Osterberg and Stealth's Destiny Reloaded Heritage. Hero is phenomenal in every way a GSP can be. He is broad and muscular with the agility of a gazelle. His temperment is calm cool and collected. He is patient and observant and quite the gentleman. But when he unleashes it, he has the power of a race horse! Hero's OFA number for Elbows is GSP-EL6862M62-C-VPI: his Elbows are NORMAL. His OFA number for Hips isGSP-22541E62M-C-VPI and his hips are evaluated as EXCELLENT! Hero's Genetic evaluation tested negative for the negative genetic traits that are most common with GSPs. Alvarado Farm's Makya
Makya hails from Pro Shot Kennels. Makya has an deeply intuitive and working dog disposition. She will watch and learn to problem solve on her own. Makya is friendly to all and ready and willing to please. She comes from strong hunting line; however, as with all of our dogs, she also enjoys the luxury of cuddles on the couch.
Alvarado Farm's Venus
I hail form Heritage GSP Kennels. I am the daughter of Hero and Louise. I posses a mature level of patience and intelligence. I have completed obedience training and among the pack I have the feeling I am quite the favorite. I keep calm and observe while my pack runs, barks and jumps. I am a willing retriever and will be competing in some shows next year. I will keep you posted on what I am learning and my achievements.
Alvarado Farm's Sarah Seeks Birds
Sarah hails from Heritage GSP Kennels where she was beautifully started and trained on obedience and birds. Sarah is from Brother's Thunderstruck Heritage and Remington Lous Only Lady. Sarah is gentle and relaxed, but when it is time she is monster for birds. She naturally retrieves and is always looking for birds outside. Inside, she wants affection and that perfect spot on the couch, right next to one of her humans.
Thunder's Threat
Thunder hails from Paris Texas from a Breeder, Upland Hunter and Upland Dog Trainer, Noah Chipman. Thunder's siblings are heavy with field champions and proven hunters. Thunder is just a year old, He earned his NAVHDA Prize 3 at 11 months old and after only being on birds once. His drive to hunt radiates from within. His tall long stature comes from his DK Grandmother straight from Germany. Thunder has earned his first Pass at the AKC Junior Hunt Test. Next year he will continue his Hunt Test and Field Trial journey. Go Thunder boy! Though he is a monster in the field, he is gentle and serene with his loved ones. He is playful and silly when he is not hunting. This Thunder storm has it all.
Juno
Juno hails from TTR GSP Topdog Kennels and has begun her NAVHDA Natural Ability training and tested for NA in and won herself a Prize 2 Award, just two points shy of a Prize one at 10 months old. Juno is a young up and coming birddog! She is loaded with drive and is serious in the field. We can't wait to see how Juno finishes!
Alvarado Farm's Atlas
Alvarado Farm's Atlas hails from King's Crossing Kennels. Atlas is driven and bold GSP and wears his strong hunting lineage well. Atlas can run all day without a break. He is mostly business, but he sure loves to soak in the pool after a long run.
Beaux (Stud to Sarah)
Beaux hails from Northcutt Breeders and lives with his family near Brock, Texas. Beaux was formally trained to point and retrieve by War Wagon Kennels and loves to put his skills to practice retrieving dove. He has a strong prey drive and enjoys bing outside no matter the weather. He easily goes from working in fields to cuddling with his family's young kids.
Our Breeding Philosophy
Our breeding philosophy is committed to producing German Shorthaired Pointers that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on a variety of factors, including Anatomy, Health, Intelligence, Temperament, Beauty and Conformation to the breed standards. Our German Shorthaired Pointers are raised in our home in a loving and nurturing environment, and we take great care to ensure that our pups receive the best possible care and socialization. Puppies are born in our home and remain in our home until they are ready to join yours. We can and do offer advice along the way and in many cases stay in close contact with new owners for years to come, like family.
